For us, it's always been about more than just creating products - though that is definitely a big part of what we do. It's about creating community, empowering people to embrace their baldness, and changing the social stigma around being bald. We're sick and tired of being told that there's something wrong with us, or that baldness is a problem that needs to be solved.
We think the only problem that needs to be solved is that baldies have been ignored by the beauty world for far too long! Walk down the aisle at any supermarket or beauty store and you'll find dozens and dozens of hair care products. When did you ever see a bald care aisle? It's not as if there aren't enough of us out there!
Well, the times they are a' changing... Thanks to the beautiful bald influencers on Instagram, celebrities doing the big chop and owning their domes, and the media finally getting on board and shouting that bald is beautiful.
We are honored to have been featured this week on Good Morning America's style page. The best part is that GMA really gets the Own Your Dome® mission and what we're trying to do around here. Bit by bit, step by step, we're going to change this paradigm.
